We decided to do something to do our part and help out with your help. we are selling JDMSource branded t shirts for $15ea and 100% of proceeds will be going to Red Cross to help with the disaster. Every drop in the bucket counts and that is what we are aiming for and hopefully we can get your support in doing so. After alot of planning and throwing around ideas Steven finally decided on going with the unthinkable well unthinkable to most when it comes to swap choices for the 2000+ Celicas, the Gen III 3SGTE. As most tuners with these cars know there is not alot of motor swap choices for this car that are relatively bolt in and dont require a lot of work and for Steven going turbo with the 2ZZ motor was out of the question. JDMSource set him up with a JDM 3SGTE Gen III swap and the heart transplant was under way! Fast forward a blazing month and a half and it is semi complete and running. He is still buttoning up some final things but came by to show me the beast.

i have always loved 510′s and when Dan bought a JDM SR20DET S14 motor set from JDMSource a very long time ago i always wondered if he finished the car and how it turned out. Well after about 4 years he stopped by and the first thing i did was grab my camera lol. This car is down right dirty. every little thing and i mean every last detail is done to perfection, he is also working on a truck version of the 510 and hopefully i will have pics up on the blog when he is done with it. Enjoy!

My good friend Kurt bought an IS300 last year and ever since he did i had been bugging him to stop ricing cars out and do a swap lol so after some convincing he decided against Air ride and Jesse James 22″ wheels ( just kidding, although he is a ricer at heart but wont admit to it) and went with a JDM 2JZGTE VVTi motor. Also please visit Kurt’s site (canadian agent) www.triplecrownfighter.com

the old motor on its way out

Motor out

New motor in

Yes, he actually painted the nice VVTi blue cover red

Motor shipped from JDMSource

When Brian came into JDMSource asking about a SR20DET motor and wanting to swap it in to his E30 BMW i will be honest i didn’t think he was serious. Well he purchased a S13 Redtop and i still had doubts about the swap lol. Fast forward 1 year this July and guess what pulls up into the parking lot? I will let the pictures do the talking…….. Mad props to Brian for pulling this one through. This car is a beast, I will get a complete mod list from Brian and update this post in the near future. Enjoy

He sold the car after the build but he is getting the modding itch again so as soon as he tackles a new project i will be sure to add it on here. Also check out Jordan’s Blog, he is a shoe freak lol i can guarantee you he has more pairs of shoes than any girl you know haha…
